Due to the lack of volunteers in years past, the MTSC has decided to implement a work bond for the Travel Division. Most of the other clubs within Monroe have a work bond, and we have tried to avoid it. Our organization is only as good as its volunteers. We are finding it more difficult every year to get people to volunteer their time with essential functions such as field lining, hanging / removing nets, SAGE representatives, and most importantly helping with our tournament. The tournament is our single most important fund raiser, which allows us to keep our fees lower as well as offer more for your money. We need the help from our parents to continue with the success of our program.
The work bond fee will be $100 per family for the combined Fall 2007 and Spring 2008 season. There will be many ways in which parents can volunteer their time to recuperate their work bond. We are hoping that everyone will assist the club with their time and therefore no one will surrender their bond. We are not asking for a lot of time.
Every family will be required to work a minimum of 3 hours with a minimum of 1 hour working in the Spring Tournament. Majority of the
Ways to recuperate your work bond will include:
- Coaches (max 3 per team) - meets full requirement
- Team parent - meets full requirement
- SAGE Representative - meets half of the requirement
- Field Maintenance (field lining, net removal and hanging).
- Tournament Committee - meets full requirement
- Tournament Volunteer various functions include but not limited to: registration, scoring table, awards table, concessions, field marshal, field maintenance, and garbage removal.

It is the volunteer’s responsibility to properly document the hours you have given to the Club. Upon completion of your obligation, you must have your time sheet validated by your team-mom and/or Head Coach. DO NOT GIVE YOUR WORK BOND TIME-SHEET TO YOUR COACH or Team Mom! You must turn in your completed, signed work bond sheet at either the monthly general membership meeting, or by mailing to us at:

Completed work bond forms are due no later than June 30, 2008. If you fail to submit your completed work bond form by this date, you will forfeit your work bond to the MTSC. No exceptions will be made. Work bonds will not be carried over to the following season.
