Fall 2008 Recreation Registration

Please Note that Fall 2008 Registration will begin on July 11th, 2008.

Please also note that it will be an "ONLINE ONLY" registration.  Please save the date and look for the registration link so you are not left out.

PARKING at Thompson Park

There is NO PARKING allowed on any grass area at Thompson Park.

All cars must use the parking lots, regardless of on which field their child is playing.  This is the rules for use of the Park, as determined by the County.  Anyone not adhering to these rules will be ticketed. 

It is the coach's responsibility to ensure that parents park in appropriate areas.

Division Breakdown

Recreation (Rec) soccer is groups of players, both male and female, broken down by ages, playing soccer in a casual but competitive setting. The games are usually played on Sundays at Thompson Park in Jamesburg. However, the Shrimp division  may “practice” on Saturdays or Sundays. This decision is up to the individual coach. There are no formal games for the Shrimps division.

Divisions will be broken down into the following categories:

Shrimps: 4 yr old minimum

Munchkin: Kindergarten and 1st graders

Junior Boys: 2nd and 3rd grade

Junior Girls: 2nd and 3rd grade

Intermediate Boys: 4th through 6th grade

Intermediate Girls:  4th through 6th grade

Seniors: 7th through 9th grade (co-ed, at this point, due to low participation)
COACHES- F License Classes

MTSC asks that all coaches attend an F License Course in order to coach Junior, Intermediate and Senior levels.  MTSC will reimburse your fee upon completion of the course and receipt of a copy of the F license.  Click on the link below to view upcoming F license courses in the area.
